Jennifer and Rich Appleby meet one another in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
Jennifer and Rich have their two sons, Rich is working at a national commercial construction company, and Jennifer is working for the local newspaper.
Jennifer and Rich moved their family to the triangle specifically Apex, NC where they have remained ever since.
Rich remained in the construction industry where he worked for more than 5 national contractors. Jennifer switched careers and worked for a local microchip engineering and manufacturing firm who she still keeps in touch with.
Rich and Jennifer start their own contracting firm originally named Appleby Contractor Services.
Rich and Jennifer’s son Brian joins the entrepreneurship journey with them. He would later lead the establishment of Carolina Cabinet Company through a different operations model than the typical cabinet distributor. This allowed them to offer their customers high quality AWI casework and residential cabinetry at a discounted rate.
The Triangle continued to experience exponential growth and so did the Appleby family. To this day they continue to stick to their roots and beliefs of operating a fair and honest contracting firm and cabinetry company.
